In connection with the Kotisivukone service, the hosting service uses the Sendinblue service for email notification and managing the email list, with which there is an agreement on matters related to data protection. The subscriber of the newsletter has separately given his consent and confirmed his email address when joining the email list in question if he wants to hear news or receive marketing-related messages related to Kotisivukone. So not all of our customers are added to the email list offered by Sendinblue, but only subscribers who have joined it separately. The provider of the Sendinblue service is committed to complying with the privacy protection principles approved by the European Union Commission, which can guarantee an adequate level of data protection.

Retention period of personal data

Personal data is stored for as long as necessary, for example, for maintaining customer relationships, managing domain names and accounting. The data will be deleted within 5 years when it is no longer necessary to store it.

Principles of registry protection

The data is stored securely in a protected server room. Physical access to the server room, where the data is located, is prevented by access control and other security measures. Access to data requires sufficient rights and multi-step identification. Among other things, firewall technology prevents external attacks and access to registry data. The registry data is securely backed up and can be restored if necessary. The level of information security is audited at frequent intervals either by external or internal auditing.

Personal data will only be processed by people specifically defined by Planeetta Internet Oy, who are employed by Planeetta Internet Oy. These identify themselves to the systems with the help of a personal username and password. Users are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

Rights of the registrant

A person in the register has the right, among other things:

  • request from the controller access to the personal data concerning him and the right to request the correction or deletion of the data in question or to limit the processing, or to object to the processing.
  • to check and, if necessary, have the information on him corrected in the register. The person in the register has the right to changes in the information that has been incorrectly entered in the register. These actions should primarily be done on the customer pages, where the information can be viewed and changed.
  • to the extent that the processing of personal data is based on the data subject’s consent, the right
  • to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal
  • file a complaint about the processing of personal data to the supervisory authority
