With the WordPress Maintenance service, you ensure that you always have a person at your disposal who can help you use WordPress or make changes for you. If you don’t have time or can’t get to the machine yourself, you can ask us to make the changes. Site updates are made with an hourly charge according to the price list during customer service opening hours.
WordPress offers the possibility of automatic updates, which are enabled as default. If there are compatibility issues with themes and plugins in the updates, or other issues in the update, they may affect the functionality or security of the site. For this reason, we recommend doing the updates in a controlled manner and in such a way that in case of problems it is easy to return to the state before the update.
In our maintenance service, we make updates to your site in a controlled manner and make sure that your site works smoothly after the updates. We also react quickly to any problems after performing the updates, which guarantees the continuous operation of your site.
Reporting gives you a comprehensive summary of updates, security and monitoring. With it, you are always up-to-date on the status and operation of your site.

If our monitoring detects a critical issue with your site, we will investigate the incident. Reaction and investigation of problems is done on weekdays during customer service opening hours.

We back up the site’s files and databases, depending on the service level, monthly, weekly or daily. A backup copy is always taken before version updates, in which case the copy serves as a restore point if problems occur during the update.

We install available updates to your site on a regular monthly or biweekly basis, depending on the service level you choose. After updates, we always check the status of your site. For non-critical issues, we usually wait for a corrective update and install it in the next version update. In case of critical vulnerabilities, we will contact you and propose a fix.
In the Accurate and Extensive service levels, your site’s operation is monitored around the clock, and possible outages are logged in the log and in the monthly report. We actively react to outages on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If there have been outages at other times, we will review them during the day.
The operation of our web hotels is monitored 24/7 and possible malfunctions are responded to immediately. However, this monitoring does not monitor the client’s environments like the functionality of WordPress. All service interruptions are reported to the care supervision. In the Accurate and Extensive service levels, you get a report on the care service, where you can see e.g. updates made, information security audit summaries and disturbances detected during monitoring. Accurate includes reporting once a month and Extensive every two weeks.
If there are compatibility problems with the updates and the implementation of the home pages, we will restore the site from a backup to a working version and report to you on the necessary measures. In Hulenpito Tarkka and Laaja services, we investigate the problem without a separate charge. According to the report, you can choose to order the necessary repair from us, fix the problems yourself or use a third party to make the repairs.
Malfunctions caused by the site’s software, which prevent the site from functioning, are responded to during the support’s opening hours (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Vulnerabilities are often found in the publishing system or installed add-ons during security audits.
In many cases, vulnerabilities are fixed through regular updates included in the maintenance service. If the vulnerability is serious or there is no fix in sight with updates, the alternative is to disable the add-on or develop or find a replacement solution.
If the service interruption is caused by the server environment, the company providing the web hosting is responsible for monitoring and repairing it.
Hosting service: Our server monitoring reacts to server failures 24/7. If necessary, we make repairs to the failed server environment or, if necessary, change the web hosting to a completely new environment.
Homepages in another service provider’s hosting environment: We react to outages during support opening hours (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). If the outage is caused by the server or the data traffic related to it, the explanation of problem situations is the responsibility of the hosting service provider.
Basically, it is more difficult to hack into a site that is under maintenance, but it is still possible.
In the event of a website hack, we can quickly restore your website from a backup. If restoring the backup causes significant data loss, cleaning and repairing the site instead of the backup is also possible. Cleaning and repairs after a break-in are charged according to the price list.
