EURid, which manages .eu domains, has changed its contract terms. The new contract terms will enter into force on 13 October 2022.
EURid has changed the contract terms for the following reasons:
- In order to comply with regulations regarding .eu domain names: Regulation (EU) 2019/517 of the European Parliament and of the Council, issued on 19 March 2019 with accompanying regulations
- In order to clarify the new contract terms and make them easier to use, by combining the existing contract terms and registration policies into one document. In this context, information on procedures and technical matters has been removed from the guidelines for registration and published separately at eurid.eu
If you have registered .eu domain names, we recommend that you read the new terms and conditions completely on EURid’s website. By keeping and renewing your .eu domain name, EURid considers you to have confirmed that you have read and accepted the amended terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the new contract terms, you can deactivate your domain name through our customer service even before the registration expires. If you have any questions about the new contract terms or your .eu domain names, please contact our customer service or EURid directly.
